RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS OF THE LAYOUT TEAM:

IMPORTANT: Actually write up and include the content on the website and all digital OV-related sites.
Design the website and other OV online sites/products. Includes choosing a color palette, consistently sticking to the OV theme, building a recognizable, memorable visual brand, creating an OV logo, and remembering to incorporate it on OV-related sites.
Ensuring layout is easy to understand, and the website is navigable.
Work with the Verification Team for final polishes.
- Time Commitment Estimate: 2-6 hours a week, depending on whether we’re changing up layout, features, and how busy the season is.
- Expected Skills: Very familiar w/ OV digital software, sense of OV’s design, theme, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS OF THE LAYOUT SECTION HEAD:

Partake in the same duties of the Layout Team.
IMPORTANT: Will be the ONLY Layout Team member with access to OV's website account (username and password) information, along with the Head Team.
- Therefore, the Layout Section Head will be the ONLY Layout Team member doing all the final edits on the actual site (unless the Head Team says otherwise).
Act as the final "verifier" on all of the Layout Team's work thus far before finalizing.
Act as the primary communicator between the Layout Team and any other Teams as necessary. Includes communicating with adult supervisors.
- Expected to take any reports, concerns, or inaccuracies directly to the Team or supervisor in question if a Layout Team member has not done so already.
Keep the Layout Team accountable and timely.
Compile key points in a notes format for the Head and Outreach Teams.
