OUTREACH TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

Create posts, reels, stories, and include captions (primarily on Instagram, but responsibilities encompass all and any social media platforms that OV utilizes), mentioning and tagging relevant accounts.
Find individuals and groups online to collaborate with, DM, and respond to anyone online about OV.
- Check in with Head Team and/or adult supervisors before responses on definitive details.
Cross-check information with any applicable Teams and/or adult supervisors if any discrepancies or errors crop up.
Maintain an appropriate, professional account and responses to DMs.
Post on time and with high quality + accurate visuals and information.
Condense information given by the other Teams into key points that are easy and quick to read and understand.
Time Commitment Estimate: 3-7 hours a week, depending on how much content we have to post/need to advertise, and how busy the season is.
Expected Skills: Knowing how to work Instagram/other social media pages, knowing how to use Canva well and/or other digital software for making posts & etc., not forgetting to check the account constantly.

OUTREACH SECTION HEAD RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

Partake in the same duties of the Outreach Team.
IMPORTANT: Will be the ONLY Outreach Team member with access to any of OV's social media accounts (username and password), along with the Head Team.
- Responsible for keeping account information secure and ensuring the professionalism of the actual account.
Act as the last "verifier" on all of the Outreach Team's work thus far before finalizing.
Act as the primary communicator between the Outreach Team and any other Teams as necessary. Includes communicating with adult supervisors.
- Expected to take any reports, concerns, or inaccuracies directly to the Team or supervisor in question if an Outreach Team member has not done so already.
Keep the Outreach Team accountable and timely.
