PODCAST TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Find interviewees with relevant Teams, create interview questions, conduct interviews, obtain permission for recording, and/or other logistics.
Maintain a professional attitude before, during, and after interviews.
Be accountable for follow-ups and updates for interviewees.
Find features and content to include in the podcast.
Film and edit everything.
Obtain permission to film and visit, attend OV events, and/or schools with the Journalist Team.
Upload things on time and with consistency to the OV theme and objectives.
Time Commitment Estimate: 2-10 hours a week, depending on content/content length, and how busy the season is.
Expected Skills: Media literacy, time management, respect, communication, ideally interview experience (at least for those in the Podcast Team doing interviews).
PODCAST SECTION HEAD RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Partake in the same duties of the Podcast Team.
IMPORTANT: Act as the last "verifier" on all of the Podcast Team's work thus far before finalizing and sending out information to participants.
Act as the primary communicator between the Podcast Team and any other Teams as necessary. Includes communicating with adult supervisors.
Expected to take any reports, concerns, or inaccuracies directly to the Team or supervisor in question if a Podcast Team member has not done so already.
Keep the Podcast Team accountable and timely.
Compile key points in a notes format for the Head and Outreach Teams.
