WORKSHOP TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Plan all workshop logistics with Head Team and/or adult supervisors, ensuring all workshops run smoothly and keep track of workshop-related aspects.
Coordinate, communicate, and finalize with structure, participants, policy, workshop training, and hosting requirements, venues for outside of school, platforms, and recurring join links for online workshops.
Organize in-school workshops/programs and communicate with outside organizations that may have partnered with OV.
Managing workshop cycle rotations, applications, and requests for workshops.
Manage interviewees (especially for summit workshops) with the Podcast Team.
Work with the Outreach Team to promote workshops and increase turnout.
Time Commitment Estimate: 5+ hours a week, depending on workshop type, summit sessions, etc.
Expected Skills: Patience, communication, impartiality, organizational skills, versatility/adaptability, workshop and/or feedback session experience
WORKSHOP SECTION HEAD RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Partake in the same duties of the Workshop Team.
IMPORTANT: Act as the last "verifier" on all of the Workshop Team's work thus far before finalizing and sending out information to participants.
Act as the primary communicator between the Workshop Team and any other Teams as necessary. Includes communicating with adult supervisors.
Expected to take any reports, concerns, or inaccuracies directly to the Team or supervisor in question if a Workshop Team member has not done so already.
Keep the Workshop Team accountable and timely.
Compile key points in a notes format for the Head and Outreach Teams.
